三次元のコントロールについてまったく触れなかったので少し書きますね。本当に難しいのですよ・・・
ラジコンをコントロールする箱を一般的にプロポと呼びます。プロポにはレバーが付いていてレバーを倒すことで前進後退、方向を決めていきます。二次元の場合、左レバーで前進、後退をコントロールします。レバーを前に倒すと前進、後ろに倒すと後退します。右のレバーは進行方向をコントロールします。右に行きたければ右にレバーを倒し、左に行きたければ左に倒します。非常にわかりやすいですよね。三次元の場合はかなりややっこしいことになります。4ｃｈのプロポは（私のヘリコプターのやつに限定すると）左のレバーはメインローターの角度を前後左右に動かして機体の前進後退と右左折（方向）をコントロールします。右のレバーはメインローターの出力、テールローターの出力をコントロールします。二次元と大きく違うのはひとつのレバーは円を書くように動き、同時に二つの動きをコントロールする点です。そしてそれは想像を超えてはるかに難しく、飛ばすまでには想像以上の訓練が必要です。補助の利く範囲ですら難しいのです。ローターを回すと当然浮力を得ます。すると地面との抵抗がまったくなくなりますので機体のバランスがチョッとでもずれているとその場に停止していることなくどちらかに動き出します。昨日の表現ですと「地面を這っている」状態です。その場に停止させようとコントロールを試みるのですが、例えば右斜め前に進みだした機体を停止させる為には、「左のレバーを後ろに下げつつ左に倒す」。実際に操作すると自分の想像以上に反応が遅いのでもっと倒す。するといっきに後ろに下がってくる。まるでターボが利いたように下がり始めあわてて今度は逆にレバーを倒し・・・・そうまるでドリフト時初心者がおつりを食らってタコ踊りになってしまうのと同じ状態です。最初はレバーの操作も少しずつだったのが徐々大きくなり最後はレバーは常にどちらかに全開？を繰り返し自分のコントロールの範囲を超えてきてしまうのですよ。ドリフトなら完全にガードレール送りですね。ふぅ～良かったラジコンで。補助の範囲を超えると先日の結果になるわけです。想像以上に困難を極めるこのヘリコプター・いつの日にかきちっとホバリングできるまで練習していきます。そしてまた報告しますね。
